About

Bonnie L. Richter is a licensed Massage Therapist in New York, a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher, an Empath and Intuitive-Medium.  She began her path in the healing arts after spending more than a decade working in Corporate America.  She had begun making plans to go back to school to be a physical therapist when a debilitating illness put everything on hold.  Her recovery took a long and winding road that completely changed her life.   She decided to pursue Massage Therapy and in 1997 graduated from a rigorous program at The Finger Lakes School of Massage Therapy.  She received her NYS massage license and opened a practice near Albany, NY.

It was during this time that she also began her training in Reiki.  She found the energy work to be a natural fit and by 2002 had received her Certification as a Master/Teacher.  Bonnie found her clients enjoyed Reiki sessions and the deep relaxation, healing and pain relief they promote.

In addition to Massage and Reiki Bonnie is trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Aromatherapy, Touch for Health and Therapeutic Touch.  She is also an Empath and Intuitive-Medium.  Bonnie is currently focusing her practice on Reiki and other energy practices.  As a Reiki Master/Teacher she offers training to those interested in incorporating Reiki into their lives and/or healing practices.  She wrote her own training manual that she hopes to publish in the near future.

Bonnie’s office is currently located In Om Shanti Healing Arts Center, 1530 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush NY, just off of exit 10 of I-90.  She is just minutes from  Albany/Troy NY.  You can call, text or email Bonnie directly to schedule your appointment.

In addition to her work in the healing arts and being a wife and mother, she enjoys being a potter.  She loves the process of transforming a handful of clay into something beautiful.  You can find some of her work on Etsy by going to BonnieRichterPottery.com.
